Recognizing Our Retiring Trustees

This year, we are saying goodbye to four Trustees who have completed their terms on the Partners for Health Foundation Board. Collectively, they gave 23 years of leadership, service, and vision to our Foundation—and their impact will be felt for years to come.

Beverly Riddick (2018–2025)
Beverly has been a pillar of Board leadership, serving as Trusteeship Chair and Board Secretary. A champion of thoughtful governance, she helped create space for reflection, accountability, and continuous improvement through the annual Board Survey.

Paula Gutierrez (2021–2025)
Paula served as First Vice Chair and Nominating Chair, helping to recruit four new Trustees this year alone. A leader in our Grants, Trusteeship, and Cultural Transformation work, she deepened many of our community connections.

Sara Elnakib (2019–2025)
As Board Chair in 2024–2025, Sara led Partners for Health through a period of growth and bold vision. She advanced advocacy funding, prioritized support for grassroots organizations, and expanded our social justice programming through powerful conversations, film screenings, and community learning.

Mike Mazza (2023–2025)
As Treasurer and Finance Chair, Mike brought deep expertise and steady leadership to our investment strategy. During his tenure, PFH awarded $5.4 million in grants while growing the Foundation’s portfolio.

To Beverly, Paula, Sara, and Mike: thank you for your leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to our mission. We are deeply grateful.
